Nicole Moran is a writer, teacher, and former first reader for Strange Horizons and the Cincinnati Review. She is a recent graduate of University of Cincinnati with a Master’s degree in English and Comparative Literature (Creative Writing: Fiction).
Nicole is also an avid traveler; in 2012, she completed a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship in Pahang, Malaysia. While in undergrad, she studied Creative Writing at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland (SUISS Programme) through the Kentucky branch of the English-Speaking Union and studied International Comparative Criminal Justice in Turkey (which involved riding motorcycles and discussing anti-terrorism policy with the Turkish police). She’s also backpacked in the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Vatican City, France, England, Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Laos, and Japan.
Nicole graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Louisville in May 2011, where she majored in English, History, and Humanities (emphasis in Religious Studies).
